A GIANT creature materialised on the side of Concourse Tower in the early hours today.

It was spotted, suspended on the side of the former office building next to Lime Street Station, by passers-by on their way into the city centre this morning.

The massive spider is the first glimpse for Liverpool of the mysterious La Princess, the 37-tonne mechanical creature at the centre of the La Machine extravaganza this weekend.
